Today's NYT Spelling Bee puzzle offered an enjoyable mix of familiar vocabulary and clever letter combinations. The hive featured the mandatory center letter M, surrounded by A, C, G, I, L, and Y. At first glance, the puzzle appeared relatively friendly because it contained several common vowels, but the repeated use of the letter A and the uncommon letter Y made finding the longest words more challenging than expected.
The stars of today's puzzle were MAGICALLY, the full pangram, and MYALGIC, today's perfect pangram. Discovering both words made for an especially satisfying solving experience.
