Today's Hive Runs on M
Some letter sets are stingy, forcing you to fight for every word. Today's is the opposite — a genuinely generous board.
Center letter M, surrounded by E, T, V, L, U, I. Vowel-rich and consonant-friendly, this is one of the richest puzzles I've solved in weeks, and the pangram sitting at the center of it all is a satisfying, everyday word once you see it.
Today's Letters
The rules never change: every valid word must include the center letter M, be at least four letters long, and use only the seven letters shown on the board. Letters can repeat as many times as needed, and today's board leans on that mechanic more than most.
How I Found the Pangram
With E, T, V, L, U, I to work with, my mind went straight to compound and prefixed words — that combination practically screams "multi-" once you notice it. Testing that hunch against the remaining letters led straight to the answer:
Today's Pangram
Once that pangram clicked, the sheer number of shorter words hiding in the same seven letters became clear fast.
The Full Word List
Here's the complete set of valid words I found using only M, E, T, V, L, U, I, with M required in every single entry:

My Go-To Solving Method
For anyone chasing Genius or Queen Bee status on a board this generous, here's the approach that kept the words flowing:
Lean hard into repeated letters. MITT, TEEM, METE, MELEE, MILLET, MULLET, and VELVET all reuse at least one letter — on a board like this, assuming every letter is single-use will cost you more than half the answer list.
Test prefix instincts before rejecting them. "Multi-" isn't a full word on its own, but recognizing that pattern is exactly what led to MULTILEVEL.
Check plant, animal, and fabric vocabulary. MILLET (a grain), MULLET (a fish or hairstyle), and VELVET (a fabric) are easy to skip past if you're only thinking in verbs and adjectives.
Cycle through short M-words systematically. With 13 four-letter answers alone today, working methodically through EMIT, ITEM, LIME, MELT, METE, MILE, MILT, MITE, MITT, MULE, MUTE, TEEM, and TIME builds a strong foundation before you even reach the longer words.
Wrapping Up the Hive
Today's puzzle is about as generous as the Spelling Bee gets, and MULTILEVEL ties together a genuinely rich word list without needing obscure vocabulary to get there. If you've been circling M, E, T, V, L, U, I, there's a lot of ground to cover — hopefully this list gets you the rest of the way to a full clear.
See you at tomorrow's puzzle.
